Rosati's Pizza is a family-owned and locally grown pizza franchise with a rich history spanning almost 60 years. It started as a fine dining Italian restaurant in Coney Island, New York, in 1895 by Italian immigrant Ferdinand Rosati. The family later moved to Chicago and opened a restaurant on Taylor Street in 1906. In 1927, Saverio Rosati, Ferdinand's son, opened an additional restaurant that became a favorite spot for famous politicians, stars, and gangsters.

In 1964, Saverio's sons opened the first Rosati's Pizza in the suburbs of Chicago. Recognizing the popularity and success of their pizza, they decided to franchise the concept in 1979. Today, there are nearly 300 Rosati's restaurants across the United States.
